Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Safe Gaming Cloud ("SGC", "we", "us", "our"), including our website at safegamingcloud.com, desktop scanner application, API, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SGC provides a gaming integrity monitoring platform for competitive esports events. Our Service includes:

  • A desktop scanner application that analyzes system configurations for potential integrity violations
  • A web dashboard for managing scans, PINs, guilds, and event administration
  • An API for programmatic access to scan results and platform features
  • Discord bot integration for community verification

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Service. By using SGC, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account via Discord OAuth or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscription Plans & Payments

SGC offers paid subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, Business) billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a plan:

  • You authorize us to charge the payment method on file on a recurring basis
  • Prices are in EUR and include applicable taxes as required by law
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard billing page

6. Refund Policy

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the Service has not been substantially used. Contact us at support@safegamingcloud.com for refund inquiries. This does not affect your statutory rights under EU consumer protection law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the scanner application
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Submit false or misleading scan data
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization
  • Use automated tools to access the Service beyond the provided API

8. Scanner Application

The SGC Scanner is a desktop application that performs system analysis. By using the scanner:

  • You consent to the scanner reading system information as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You understand that scan results are advisory and do not constitute definitive proof of cheating
  • You acknowledge that false positives/negatives may occur
  • You agree not to tamper with, modify, or interfere with the scanner's operation

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all code, designs, logos, trademarks, and content, is owned by Safe Gaming Cloud. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SGC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be legally limited in the EU.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable member state where we are established. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings in your country of residence if you are an EU consumer.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
